Big news and so happy to finally announce that our film fund is now officially a registered charity called Emerging Voices Film Foundation and it is now open for submissions!
Formerly known as the Other Brother Studios Film Fund, the Emerging Voices Film Foundation aims to promote the art of film for the public benefit by providing grant funding and mentoring support to emerging filmmakers from under-represented groups in the UK film industry; and by providing opportunities for the public to experience films made by filmmakers from under-represented groups in the UK film industry through support to public screenings.
Under-represented groups in the film industry include people from the global majority, disabled people, women and non-binary people, people from the LGBTQIA+ community, people from lower socio-economic groups and those from outside London.
